Sewer Joint Grout Sealing
Precision-engineered chemical injection systems utilizing high-performance acrylamide grouts specifically formulated for permanent joint sealing in pressurized sewer and storm pipeline systems and aggressive groundwater environments.
Our chemical joint sealing methodology employs robotic injection systems with real-time pressure monitoring and flow control. We utilize advanced acrylamide compounds that polymerize rapidly upon contact with water, creating permanent flexible seals with exceptional chemical resistance. The process includes a joint air test assessment using special packers. Our acrylamide formulations resist sulfate attack common in regional groundwater (sulfate levels >1000 ppm) and maintain flexibility across temperature ranges from 5°C to 65°C. Installation utilizes double-packer systems with pressures calibrated to pipe material and joint configuration.

Infiltration and Salinity Control
Infiltration in sewers causes soil erosion, washing fine soil particles into the sewer system. This soil erosion leads to sinkholes, undermining the pipe supports. As a result, the pipe’s structural integrity is endangered due to the washout of backfilling material. To resolve this problem, the soil stabilization process is often used.
Chemical grouts do not stop leaks simply by patching joints and cracks. Instead, grouting chemicals are forced through the joints and cracks into the surrounding soil to form a waterproof mass that cannot be pushed back into the sewer system.
